• Description

  Basfoliar^® Si SL is a liquid biostimulant that can remedy abiotic stress factors such as drought, heat and salt stress thanks to the combined action of silicon and glycine betaine. It contains highly absorbable silicon, which structurally strengthens cell walls to form an additional protective layer against abiotic stress. Thanks to that, in contiditions with excessive traspiration, uncontrolled water losses from leaf surface (or fruit skin) are reduced. Glycine betaine is a natural osmoprotectant, which will protect cells from cell bursting by limiting water loss from plant cells by better control of stomata opening. Basfoliar^® Si SL can therefore improve fruit and crop quality thanks to this dual activity.

  This product is miscible with various crop protection products, however mixtures with strong alkalis or mineral oils should be avoided. Because of the high pH and presence of silicon, a simple compatibility test with the intended mixing partners is strongly recommended before practical use. When doing so, observe the pH range for the activity of the intended mixing partner.

  Shake well before use. Application of the spray liquid should then be done as quickly as possible. After use, clean the spraying system thoroughly with clean water.
